Akhil has more than six years of web development experience. He is a passionate developer, regular blogger, rails core contributor and a hacker by nature. He has written various bash and ruby utility scripts. He is the author of the Ruby On Rails plugin called State Select. He has contributed to many other plugins including lighthouse addons, tinyMCE, sexy flash. Recently he has been working to make a lot of plugins Rails 3 compatible. He is also the go to guy for anything related to servers. He has experience having deployed and maintained apps on almost all commercial Rails hosting service providers.
